How It Works

Teachers are chosen to participate in the Arkema Science Teacher Program by committees at each site. School principals are asked to nominate two teachers from grades three through six.

Each school principal must complete a four-page application form, which requests information about the nominated teachers. Selection criteria include: interest in science; leadership potential; student impact; and geographic location.

Teachers and principals are notified by mail of their selection and receive a package of information describing the program and schedule of events.
