Orgasol^® powder: A Texturing Agent in Furniture
               and Appliance Markets

Wood Furniture:
Consumers are looking for wood that is smooth to the touch with an even satin gloss.

Orgasol^® powder is one of the best solution to achieve smooth texture and gloss. The spherical shape and uniform particle size of Orgasol^® powder creates a soft and silky texture.

Adding Orgasol^® powder at low levels (< 2%) has no impact on varnish transparency and enables good mar resistance.

Orgasol^® powder can also be used as a topcoat for tables, doors, or windows to improve scratch resistance.

Electronic Appliances:
Orgasol^® powder is applied to plastic or steel parts used in automotive assemblies and electronic appliances.

Some manufacturers use Orgasol^® powder as an additive to create a smooth or textured finish. Scratch resistance is a second benefit to using Orgasol^® powder for electronic appliances.

Orgasol^® powder is easily dispersed in polyurethane, epoxy or acrylic formulations used on furniture and appliance surfaces. Orgasol^® powder can be used in solvent based, water based, or 100% solid UV curable formulations.
