Rilsan polyamides exhibit excellent mechanical properties over a wide temperature range, including high elongation and yield at break. It is one of the toughest high-performance polymers and is used extensively in engineering applications. Due to morphological changes during extension, plasticised Rilsan® PA 11 offers higher higher burst strength than Rilsan® PA 12 at equivalent modulus.
